Post-Oscars thoughts
No big surprise about The Artist taking out several of the big awards. Not my pick, but I understand why it was so well-liked. Oh my god, on the red carpet, Sacha Baron Cohen as his new character, The Dictator, spilling what he claimed were Kim Jong-il’s ashes all over Ryan Seacrest? One of the best things I’ve ever seen. Like I said, Meryl Streep was the safe choice for best...

2012 Oscars predictions
Since I have now seen all 9 nominations for best picture at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, I think it’s time to once again give my thoughts and predictions on the winners. For a full list, go here. Best Motion Picture of the Year: I think the Academy will give it to either The Artist, The Descendants or possibly The Help. I suppose Midnight in Paris may be in with a chance too. My vote...

I ran for 20 minutes, non-stop today. Yay. I’m following this running schedule, if anyone’s interested.

You know how nowadays, particularly in the USA, children in school are taught, like, “Oh yes, everyone was so silly back then, thinking that black people were a different class of human and not equal to white people.”? I can’t wait until the time when the same thing will be said about homosexual people when compared to heterosexual people.

I like how on one of the tracks on Die Antwoord’s new album, the only words I can understand are “vibrator” and “Robocop”.

I think it’s interesting that women are considered to be the more romantic of the sexes. Or the ones that enjoy romance and the beauty of love and all that, more so than men. In actuality, I think it’s often the opposite. There are all these romantic projections put on women that men have bought into since pretty much forever. Women are supposedly these beautiful, mysterious,...

A Question...
I don’t have that many followers, and I’m not really sure how many of those actually read each entry in P365 Films, but do y’all want me to keep writing these mini-reviews just whenever I see a new film?

Project 365 Films Overview
Well, I did it. I watched 365 films within the year 2011. Phew. It got a little trying towards the end there. It wasn’t as creatively challenging as my photo project, but definitely more time-consuming. Here are some of my thoughts on the whole thing: Here’s my top 10 films from the project. Or rather, what I’m going to call, the top 10 films that affected me the most, in...
